During this time of giving, we want to focus on the pro-bono organizations in our Atlanta community. Pro bono is short for the Latin phrase pro bono publico, which means “for the public good.” Many pro-bono organizations have experienced an increased demand for services as the pandemic has caused unimaginable challenges with increased poverty, job loss and housing loss. One of our attorneys, Samantha Skolnick, is the Chair of the ATLANTA COUNCIL OF YOUNGER LAWYERS SECTION ASSOCIATES’ CAMPAIGN FOR LEGAL SERVICES. This Campaign highlights particular pro-bono organizations and their work within the Atlanta community.
